- Submitted – documents uploaded, under review.
- Approved – KYC verified; you may go on duty.
- Rejected – documents invalid or non-compliant; reason will be provided; you must re-submit.
You may not accept trips until your KYC status is "Approved."
3.3 Periodic Re-verification
We reserve the right to request re-verification of any document that is:
- Nearing expiry (DL, Insurance, Permit, Fitness Certificate)
- Flagged during a quality audit
- Updated due to vehicle change
Failure to submit updated documents within the notified period may result in temporary suspension of your account.
3.4 Accuracy of Documents
You are solely responsible for the authenticity of all submitted documents. Submitting forged, altered, or fraudulent documents is a criminal offence under the Indian Penal Code and will result in immediate permanent deregistration and reporting to law enforcement authorities.
4. Independent Contractor Status
- You are an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, joint venture partner, or representative of SSB PrimeRyde Services LLP.
- The Company does not control the manner, means, or timing of your work. You retain full discretion over when and how often you go on duty.
- You are solely responsible for your own income tax, GST (where applicable), EPF, ESIC, and any other statutory obligations arising from your income.
- The Company is not responsible for providing health insurance, provident fund, gratuity, or any other employment benefit.
- Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to create an employer–employee relationship.
5. Duty Mode – Going Online & Offline
5.1 Duty ON (Online Mode)
- When you toggle Duty ON, your real-time GPS location is continuously tracked (including in the background) to match you with nearby trip requests.
- You will receive incoming trip requests via push notification and on-screen overlay.
- By going on duty, you represent that you, your vehicle, and all required documents are in a valid, compliant, and roadworthy condition.
5.2 Duty OFF (Offline Mode)
- When you toggle Duty OFF, GPS tracking ceases immediately and you will not receive trip requests.
- You may go offline at any time, except when you have an accepted or ongoing trip. You must complete or cancel (with penalty where applicable) any active trip before going offline.
5.3 Background Location
Continuous background location tracking is required while you are in Duty ON mode. This is necessary for real-time passenger matching, route tracking, and accurate fare calculation. Revoking the Background Location permission will prevent you from being matched with trips. Please refer to our Privacy Policy (Section 5) for full details.
6. Trip Acceptance & Conduct
6.1 Accepting Trips
- Incoming trip requests will be displayed for a limited time. If not accepted within the window, the request will be passed to another Driver.
- Repeated non-acceptance of trips when online may result in a temporary penalty or reduced trip priority.
6.2 Trip Obligations
Upon accepting a trip, you agree to:
- Arrive at the pickup location promptly.
- Identify yourself to the passenger using your in-app profile.
- Follow the app navigation or the most reasonable route to the destination.
- Treat all passengers with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and roadworthy vehicle at all times.
- Not request additional cash payment beyond the app-calculated fare.
- Not cancel trips arbitrarily after acceptance (see Section 8 – Cancellation).
6.3 Trip Start – End OTP Verification
Where enabled, you may be required to verify the passenger's End OTP before marking the trip as complete to prevent fraudulent trip completions.
6.4 Passenger Safety
- You must drive safely and comply with all traffic laws, speed limits, and safety regulations.
- You must never drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs judgment.
- Passengers may use the in-app SOS feature to share their location with emergency contacts if they feel unsafe.
7. Services You Can Offer
Depending on your vehicle type and your enabled service settings, you may accept:
- Ride Hailing – Standard on-demand passenger trips.
- Parcel Delivery – Pickup and drop-off of small parcels. You are responsible for handling items with care and delivering them to the correct recipient.
- Scheduled Trips – Pre-booked rides dispatched approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. Scheduled trips cannot be cancelled arbitrarily once dispatched.
You may enable or disable individual service types from the App settings, subject to availability in your operating zone.
8. Cancellation Policy
8.1 Driver Cancellation
- Cancellations after accepting a trip should be minimal. Excessive cancellations negatively affect your acceptance rate and may result in restricted duty access.
- Cancelling a Scheduled Trip after dispatch without a valid reason will be treated as a breach of these Terms.
8.2 Passenger Cancellation & No-Show
- If a passenger cancels after the free cancellation window (2 minutes), a cancellation fee may be credited to your Driver Wallet as compensation.
- If a passenger does not arrive at the pickup point within 5 minutes of your arrival, you may mark them as a no-show. A no-show fee will be credited to you.
8.3 Emergency Cancellations
Genuine emergencies (vehicle breakdown, medical emergency) will be reviewed by support and may be excused without penalty. You must contact support immediately in such cases.
9. Fares, Commission & Earnings
9.1 Fare Calculation
Fares displayed to passengers are calculated based on:
- Base Fare + Distance Fare + Time Fare + Booking Fee + Surge Multiplier + Applicable GST.
The exact fare amounts per vehicle category are displayed in the App and are subject to change by the Company with prior notice.
9.2 Commission Structure
The Company deducts a platform commission (percentage of the trip fare) as compensation for providing the technology platform. The commission rate varies by vehicle type and is displayed in the App.
For Online/Digital Payments:
- Commission is automatically deducted at the time of fare settlement. Your net earnings are credited directly to your Driver Wallet.
For Cash Rides:
- You collect the full fare in cash from the passenger.
- The commission amount becomes a Cash Commission Due in your account.
- You must clear all Cash Commission Due amounts through the App (via wallet deduction or UPI payment) before your due balance crosses the configured threshold.
9.3 Commission Due Threshold & Account Block
- If your Cash Commission Due exceeds the configured threshold (as set by the platform admin), your account will be placed On Hold and you will be unable to go on duty until the dues are cleared.
- Dues can be settled through the in-app Wallet Recharge or by contacting your area manager.
9.4 GST on Commission
Where applicable under Indian GST law, GST will be levied on the platform commission amount. A GST-compliant invoice will be available in the App.
10. Driver Wallet & Withdrawals
10.1 Withdrawable Balance
- Earnings from completed trips (net of commission) are credited to your Driver Wallet as Withdrawable Balance.
- Incentive bonuses, referral bonuses, and adjustments are also credited to the Wallet.
10.2 Withdrawal Process
- You may request a withdrawal to your registered Bank Account or UPI ID from the App.
- Withdrawal requests are reviewed and approved by the admin team.
- Processing time: 1–3 business days after approval.
- Minimum withdrawal amount and processing fees (if any) will be displayed at the time of the request.
10.3 Wallet On Hold
- If your account is placed On Hold (due to commission dues, KYC issues, or policy violations), withdrawals will be suspended until the issue is resolved.
10.4 Wallet Recharge (Prepaid Balance)
- You may optionally top up your Driver Wallet via Razorpay to pre-pay commission dues or maintain a balance for advance settlements.
11. Incentive Program
- The Company may offer weekly, monthly, or trip-based incentive schemes to reward high-performing Driver Partners.
- Incentive eligibility criteria (minimum trips, acceptance rate, rating, zone) and bonus amounts will be published in the App.
- Incentives are credited to your Driver Wallet upon successful completion and verification.
- The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any incentive scheme at any time with or without prior notice.
- Incentives obtained through fraudulent means (fake trips, trip manipulation) will be clawed back and may result in permanent deregistration.
12. Referral Program
- You may refer new Driver Partners or Customers using your referral code.
- Referral bonuses are credited to your Driver Wallet upon the referred person's successful registration and completion of eligible trips.
- Abuse of the referral system (fake referrals, dummy accounts) will result in forfeiture of all bonuses and permanent account suspension.
13. Offline Ride (Meter Trip)
Where enabled in your operating zone, you may book an Offline Ride directly for a passenger without them having the App. In this case:
- You initiate the trip from your Driver App on behalf of the passenger.
- Fare is calculated by the platform as per standard fare rules.
- You are responsible for collecting the fare from the passenger.
- All commission rules apply equally to Offline Rides.
- Misuse of the Offline Ride feature to bypass platform commission will result in immediate account suspension.
14. SOS & Safety Feature
- The Driver App includes an SOS (Emergency) Button accessible during trips.
- Activating SOS shares your real-time location with your pre-selected emergency contact.
- In a genuine emergency, always call 112 (India National Emergency Number) immediately. The in-app SOS feature is an additional safety tool and does not replace emergency services.
15. Rating System
- Passengers rate you after every trip on a scale of 1 to 5 stars.
- Your average rating is visible to passengers when they are matched with you.
- Maintaining a minimum average rating (as set by the platform) is required to remain active. Drivers falling below the minimum rating threshold will be notified and given an opportunity to improve before account review.
- Ratings are based on the actual trip experience and cannot be manipulated. Any attempt to influence ratings fraudulently may result in account suspension.
16. Masked Calling
- All calls between you and passengers are routed through the Ryde masked calling system. Your actual mobile number is never revealed to the passenger.
- Call recordings or metadata may be retained for safety, dispute resolution, and quality monitoring purposes.
17. Prohibited Conduct
As a Driver Partner, you agree not to:
- Provide false information during registration or KYC verification.
- Operate with expired, invalid, or forged documents (DL, Insurance, Permit, etc.).
- Drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance impairing judgment.
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or physically harm any passenger or member of the public.
- Request additional payment outside the app or demand cash tips coercively.
- Transport illegal goods, controlled substances, weapons, or prohibited items.
- Bypass the platform by directly collecting passengers introduced through the App.
- Create multiple Driver accounts to abuse incentives, referrals, or bonuses.
- Manipulate GPS, trip routes, or earnings data using third-party tools or apps.
- Share your account credentials with another person.
- Use the Offline Ride feature to circumvent platform commissions.

Violation of these conditions may result in immediate permanent deregistration, legal action, and reporting to appropriate regulatory and law enforcement authorities.
18. Fleet Driver Obligations (If Applicable)

- Your earnings and commission settlement may be managed through the Fleet Owner's account.
- The Fleet Owner's terms of engagement with you are governed by your separate agreement with the Fleet Owner.
- The Company is not responsible for disputes between Fleet Owners and their Driver Partners.
19. Intellectual Property
